Following the invitation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, Ambassador of the Republic of Croatia to Jakarta Mr. Dražen Margeta participated in the "Diplo Fest" event, organized by the MFA RI, Public Diplomacy Section - Information and Media Department, in Makassar, Sulawesi Island, Provinces of South Sulawesi, from 22 to 24 February 2019. Ambassador Margeta participated in the Diplo Fest, with Power Point presentations and lectures titled "Branding the State" and "Bilateral Cooperation between Croatia-Indonesia in Higher Education". Through the lecture "Branding the State" Ambassador Margeta brought the knowledge about the Republic of Croatia (geographic location of Croatia, EU membership, natural beauty, tourism, Croatian inventions and inventors, important Croatian people through history and today, sport) to the audience, which made it more interested through a small quiz-prize in which the attendees should have answered the questions asked about Croatia. For the correct answers, they were rewarded with T-shirts from Croatian Universities, touristic brochures, souvenirs and handbags with Croatian features. Events in Makassar were also attended by the Foreign Minister of Indonesia, Mrs. Retno Marsudi, as well as officials of the local administration of South Sulawesi Province.
