The Republic of Croatia acquires the General Consulate building in Toronto
On the initiative of the Republic of Croatia, a very successful meeting of the joint council for the division of the diplomatic/consular real estate properties from the former SFRJ, took place in Zagreb on December 21st, 2006. The meeting concluded with one resolution and two annexes signed by all the countries of the former SFRJ. This resolution divides in total 44 diplomatic/consular real estate properties of the former SFRJ.
According to Annex ‘A', the 10 properties in total listed bellow, have been allocated to the Republic of Croatia: three Embassies (Vienna, Hague and Lisbon), four Residences (Helsinki, Madrid, Stockholm and Oslo), one General Consulate in Toronto and two apartments in Trieste.
The following meeting of the council shall take place on January 15 and 16, 2007.
