CANADIAN VISA REQUIREMENTS TO VISIT CROATIA LIFTED
The Embassy of the Republic of Croatia wholeheartedly welcomes the milestone decision made by the Government of Canada to lift Visa Requirements for all Croatian citizens wishing to visit Canada.
This decision will facilitate the people-to-people relations between Croatia and Canada, accelerate business cooperation and strengthen the overall excellent Croatia-Canada relations.
This decision will additionally fortify the ties of the 110.000 members of Croatian-Canadian community with their family members, business partners and compatriots in Croatia.
The Embassy of the Republic of Croatia highly appreciates open and intensive cooperation with the Government of Canada resulting in many positive steps and some crucial decisions, including visa regime. Canadian Government abolished additional visa requirement known as military questionnaire in February 2008; Croatia was included on Visiting Forces Act list that enabled members of the Croatian military to enter Canada without visa when coming on NATO training programs, in January 2009. With this new decision on lifting visa for all Croatian citizens, Canadian Government has formally shown recognition to all of the reforms and efforts of Croatian Government, Croatian diplomacy and positive contribution and role of Croatian Community in Canada.
Embassy of the Republic of Croatia in Canada is looking forward to the new stage of Croatia-Canada relationship. Partnership!
