The Consular Section of the Embassy of the Republic of Croatia in the Republic of South Africa held consular days in the cities of Durban (Umhlanga) and Cape Town. After fulfilling all the conditions prescribed by law in the process of acquiring Croatian citizenship, by taking a solemn oath, we welcomed ten new citizens. More than 50 people participated in the organized gatherings and had the opportunity to collect their personal documents such as passports or various civil extracts, as well as to submit requests for the issuance of new ones. The possibility of capturing biometric data required for the issuance of new Croatian travel documents in locations that are hundreds or thousands of kilometers away from Pretoria is of great importance, especially for our senior citizens. The Consular Section of the Embassy of the Republic of Croatia in Pretoria invites all citizens who need consular services and who live in remote parts of South Africa to express their interest by sending an e-mail to
ptacons@mvep.hr to be informed about the date of the next consular day in the cities of Durban, East London, Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth), Cape Town and Bloemfontein.
