The Yazaki Corporation, one of the biggest Japanese Companies and the biggest Japanese investor in Croatia, organized a traditional “28th Yazaki Summer Camp 2017” in the Gotemba City, Shizuoka Prefecture, on 26 July 2017. Within this project the Yazaki Corporation brought to Japan more than 300 children of its employees from 37 countries Company operates. During the Camp children are learning about Japanese history, culture as well as new technologies. They are also traveling around the country and visiting various cultural and heritage sites related to the rich Japanese history. Two students from Zagreb, Croatia are also participating in the event. This year Ambassador Hrastic was invited by the Company’s management to the Ikkyu-so party that is organized as part of the Yazaki Summer Camp as honorary speaker. The Yazaki Corporation has 290.000 employees in 46 countries and has been known also for it social responsibility programs.
