On Monday, 13th November 2018, an event dedicated to Croatian wine was held at the Embassy of the Republic of Croatia in Japan. The event was jointly organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Croatia in Japan and the company Azuma Corporation, one of the biggest importers of Croatian wines to Japan. The programme consisted of the opening remarks delivered by Ambassador Hrastic and a presentation about Croatia, followed by a wine tasting. Thirteen different wines of three renowned Croatian producers (Ilocki podrumi, Skaramuca and PZ Svirce) were introduced to the audience consisting predominantly of businesspeople in hospitality industry and trade as well as sommeliers and media representatives. The event was well attended and the participants expressed great interest in Croatia and Croatian wines.
