Croatian pianist with Parisian address Goran Filipec visited Japan and held recitals in the two largest Japanese cities. While the repertoire mainly consisted of works of Liszt, Filipec also played Beethoven’s Sonata for Piano Number 14 and Toccata composed by a Croatian composer Ivo Macek. The first concert was held at the Tokyo National Museum in Ueno on 23 September 2016, while two days later the Croatian pianist performed at the Osaka Salon de Sonette.
