Lectures held the Japanese high schools within the project „EU Comes to Your School“

As every year in November, ambassadors of EU member states held lectures about the EU at high schools all over Japan within the „EU Comes to Your School“ project. It is a very popular event that attracts applications from thousands of schools. This year Ambassador Hrastic held lectures at the „Sapporo Nihon University Junior and Senior High School“ and „Hokkaido Takikawa Nishi Senior High School“ in the Hokkaido Prefecture for almost a thousand students and their teachers. This occasion was also used to hold presentations about Croatia. Particular attention was given to the tourism promotional video by the Croatian National Tourist Board. During visit to Hokkaido Ambassador Hrastic also met with Deputy Governor Yasuhiro Tsuji, Mayor of Sapporo Katsuhiro Akimoto and Chairman of the Hokkaido Chamber and Industry Keigo Iwata. Particular interest was shown for cooperation in areas of tourism, agriculture and sport.
