Annual „HanaTour International Travel Show 2017“ was held in the Korean International Exhibition and Convention Center (KINTEX) in the Goyang City near Seoul from 8-11 June 2017. This major tourist event is organized by the HanaTour, the largest Korean tourist company with more than 500 exhibitors from around 40 countries. According to available figures, more than 100.000 people visited the fair during four days. Croatia was represented at the event by tourist boards of Dubrovnik, Lika-Senj and šibenik-Knin Counties as well as the Zagreb City Tourist Board. The organizer of the Croatian stand with above mentioned participants was Mr. Nikica Dorešic, a young Croatian businessman living and working in Korea who is supporting Croatian tourist promotion efforts for a number of years. The visitors of the Fair have shown a great interest for Croatia, which is regarded as good indicator of further increase of Korean tourists visiting Croatia. Ambassador Hrastic, together with the Honorary Consul Mr. In-mo Yang, attended the opening ceremony and visited the Croatian stand at the Fair.
