The reception on the occasion of celebration of the Croatian Statehood Day and the 25th Anniversary of the Croatian Independence was held at the Croatian Embassy in Japan on 20th June 2016. The event was attended by a number of Japanese officials, businessmen, foreign diplomats and friends of Croatia. Ambassador Dražen Hrastic and Mr. Nobuo Kishi, Chairman of the Foreign Policy Committee of the Lower House of the Japanese Parliament and Secretary General of the Japanese-Croatian Parliamentary Friendship League addressed the audience with the welcome and congratulatory speeches. The Croatian and Japanese National Anthems were performed on piano by renown Japanese artist Yoko Nishi. The guests enjoyed a selection of superb Croatian wines donated by the vinery “Royal Vineyards” from Zadar and Japanese importers of Croatian wines “Adria Trade” and “Fuji Trading”.
