Award-winning Croatian olive oil now available in Tokyo
As of now, Japanese stores feature a Croatian export product for the first time – the Oleum Viride olive oil, which can be bought in Tokyo at the Nissin World Delicatessen, Azabu-juban, 2-34-2 Higashi-azabu, Minato-ku (www.nissinham.co.jp).

This is a top-of-the-line olive oil, whose exceptional quality earned it the gold medal at the OLIVE JAPAN 2013 International Extra Virgin Olive Oil Competition, held in April this year in Tokyo.
Apart from said olive oil, produced by the Olea B.B. company from Rabac (www.oleabb.hr), Nissin World Delicatessen will soon also purchase other types of olive oil, salt and products containing the renowned Istrian truffles by the Zigante company (www.zigantetartufi.hr), imported by Oishi Croatia.
The top-quality Oleum Viride oil comes from the olive groves on the southern part of the Istrian peninsula, where, honouring the centuries-old tradition, olives are handpicked and then processed using the most advanced agrotechnics and technology for producing extra-virgin olive oil.
We are pleased that now Japanese buyers too will be able to enjoy the taste of the Croatian Mediterranean, for now through our olive oil, but soon through other Croatian export products as well.
