Croatian President Stjepan Mesic arrived in Jordan on Friday, May 15, 2009 where he participated in World Economic Forum, as well as the G11 group meeting, a forum that gathers developing countries.

Croatian President Stjepan Mesic arrived in Jordan on Friday, May 15, 2009 where he participated in World Economic Forum, as well as the G11 group meeting, a forum that gathers developing countries. The centre of this year`s Forum was attempted for decreasing economic differences with an accent on the importance and urgence of promoting peace and understanding in the region of religious and ethnic diversities. Croatian President Mesic hold a speech at the Forum. During his stay in Jordan, Croatian President Mesic participated in the G11 group meeting, which was established to the initiative of the Jordan King Abdulah II and it gathers countries with middle income (Croatia, Jordan, Ecuador, Georgia, Honduras, Indonesia, Morocco, Pakistan, Paraguay, Sri Lanka and Salvador) due to common presentation in the matters of international interests, such as trade negotiations, increase of direct aid and relief of debts.
