Traditional European Christmas Bazaar was held in the Nile Hilton Hotel in Cairo on 9th of December 2006. Twenty-five European countries displayed their products for sale. The income acquired was donated to humanitarian agencies in Cairo.

Republic of Croatia displayed products of some of the leading Croatian companies, such as Atlantic Group, LURA, Agrokor, Croatian Board of Tourism, Podravka and SMS. All the employees of the Croatian Embassy in Cairo participated in the event and entire Income from this action was transferred to the Diplomat's Wives Club in Cairo to be further dispatched for humanitarian projects.
