Eng. Sofian Alaw Syrian Minister of Oil and Mineral Resources discussed with the Croatian Minister of Economy, Labour and Entrepreneurship Mr. ?uro Popijac the prospects of enhancing the bilateral cooperation in the oil and gas domains.
Mr. Alaw called the Croatian Companies to participate in developing new oil fields that were announced at the beginning of this year. Mr. Alaw clarified that the cooperation areas may include exchange of experience in areas related to the GPC work as well as making use of the Croatian Companies in executing projects through its tenders and announcements with competitive bases. The current cooperation with the Croatian side in oil and gas areas is through INA CO,. which operates its work in Hayan and Aphamia Blocks.
