Ambassador of the Republic of Croatia in the Lebanese Republic seated in Cairo, Mr. Dražen Margeta, accepted the invitation from the President of the Lebanese Republic, Mr. Michel Sleiman and Lebanese Armed Force Commander, General Jean Kahwagi, to attend the military parade and reception on the occasion of the 66th Independence Anniversary of the Lebanese Republic, held in Beirut on November 22, 2009. On the official reception, Ambassador Margeta conveyed congratulations from the high officials of the Republic of Croatia to the high officials of the Lebanese Republic, President, Mr. Michel Sleiman, Speaker of the Parliament, Mr. Nabih Berri and Prime Minister, Mr. Saad Hariri.
