The meeting with the host, H.E. Mr. Mohamed Bin Mubarak Al-Khulaifi, Speaker of the Advisory Council of the State of Qatar, was the first one the official visit has started with. Talks covered ways of developing the bilateral relations in the parliamentary domain as well as a number of issues of common concern. The Speaker of the Croatian Parliament has informed his host about the advantages of investing in Croatia, highlighting the favorable geographical position of Croatia and the importance of the Croatian maritime ports. Two Heads of the Parliaments valued the cooperation at the multilateral level as very good. The delegation that accompanied H.E. the Speaker of the Croatian Parliament consisted of H.E. Mr. Dražen Margeta, non-resident Ambassador of the Republic of Croatia to the State of Qatar, seated in Cairo, Mr. Dragan Kovacevic, PhD, Member of the Croatian Parliament, President of the economic Committee of the Croatian Parliament, Mrs. Ingrid Anticevic Marinovic, member of the Parliament , Mr. šemso Tankovic, PhD, Member of the Parliament, Mr. Mišo Munivrana, PhD, Head of the Office of the Speaker of the Parliament, Mrs. Marina štancl, Assistant to the Secretary of the Croatian Parliament for the International Relations and Head of Protocol of the Croatian Parliament, Mr. Davorin Jelavic, First Secretary at the Embassy of the Republic of Croatia in Cairo and Mrs. Marina Octenjak, Advisor to the Speaker of the Croatian Parliament.
