Conference of the States Parties to the United Nations Convention against Corruption

The First session of the Conference of the States Parties to the United Nations Convention against Corruption - (CAC/COSP) has been held at the Dead Sea in Jordan under the auspices of King of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan H.M. Abdullah II.

The First session of the Conference of the States Parties to the United Nations Convention against Corruption - (CAC/COSP) has been held at the Dead Sea in Jordan under the auspices of King of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan H.M. Abdullah II. The Conference was opened by the Jordanian Prime Minister H.E. Dr. Marouf Al Bakhit, while delegation of the Republic of Croatia was headed by Minister of Justice of the Republic of Croatia Ms. Ana Lovrin and Ambassador of the Republic of Croatia to Egypt, H.E. Dražen Margeta. The States Parties to the United Nations Convention against Corruption presented respective overviews in implementation of the Convention. In addressing the Conference, Minister Lovrin established the importance of implementation of the institute of asset recovery, which was one of the key issues at the Conference. Minister Lovrin also highlighted the necessity of promotion, facilitation and support to the international cooperation and technical assistance in the prevention and fight against corruption.
