Traditional Christmas Bazaar was inaugurated on December 8th 2007 in the Nile Hilton Hotel in Cairo. Twenty-five European countries displayed their national brands products, contribution towards promotion of respected countries. Embassy of the Republic of Croatia in Cairo featured projects of Croatian Tourist Union and products of well known Croatian brands such as Podravka, Vindija and PiP Honey.

Funds raised by selling of Croatian products – along with the contributions made by the entire staff of the Croatian Embassy in Cairo - were donated to the Diplomats Wives Club of Cairo, who organized the event, aiming at raising the funds needed for various humanitarian projects.
