On April 28, 2010 Ministry of Science and Technology of China held a joined Conference on Scientific Cooperation with 10 European countries: Bulgaria, Montenegro, Croatia, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia and Serbia. The host was Mr. Cao Jianlin, Vice Minister of Science and Technology of the People's Republic of China. It was the first time Ministry of Science and Technology of the People's Republic of China organised such type of Conference

On April 28, 2010 Ministry of Science and Technology of China held a joined Conference on Scientific Cooperation with 10 European countries: Bulgaria, Montenegro, Croatia, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia and Serbia. The host was Mr. Cao Jianlin, Vice Minister of Science and Technology of the People's Republic of China. It was the first time Ministry of Science and Technology of the People's Republic of China organised such type of Conference.
The host informed about the current state of development of the Chinese science and technology. In very friendly atmosphere Ambassador Professor Dr. Ante Simonic gave a lecture on general overview of the scientific and technological development in the Republic of Croatia. Ambassador Simonic spoke about the bilateral cooperation projects with China and their future prospects. Ambassador Simonic stressed the importance of knowledgle, science and excellency for creating the new world order in which there will be more oportunity for stronger cooperation between the Republic of Croatia and People's Republic of China.
