First Ningbo Wine Culture Festival
On June 9th, 2012, the First Ningbo Wine Culture Festival was opened in the free trade zone of Ningbo City (the World Port No. 7) in Zhejiang Province. Mr. Liu Haiquan, Vice Mayor of Ningbo Municipal Administration, local leaders and Croatian Ambassador Ante Simonić, who represented the overseas guest, participated in the opening ceremony.

Mr. Liu Haiquan, Vice Mayor of Ningbo Municipal Administration, local leaders and Croatian Ambassador Ante Simonić, who represented the overseas guest, participated in the opening ceremony.
Later, the first Croatian Pavilion covered with nearly 200 square meters was opened by Croatian Ambassador Ante Simonić and Croatian-Chinese Mrs. Liu Liying. Mrs. Liu is the Chairman of the Board of the Golden Grape Trading Co. Ltd., the President of the Overseas Chinese Association in Croatia and owner of the Croatian Pavilion.
As a long term show room in Ningbo free trade zone, the mission of the Croatian Pavilion is to boost the ties of two countries, especially in the fields of culture, education, sport, and tourism as well as trade cooperation. Also, some Croatian export-products with high quality, which include wine, olive oil, coffee, chocolate, ham and mushroom are shown and sold in the Pavilion.
