COVID-19 Travel Notice

Due to the outbreak of COVID-19 the authorities of the Republic of Croatia have started implementing new public health measures to combat the spread of the disease.

At the border crossing travellers need to answer truthfully where they have come from, giving a false statement can lead to a prosecution.

  1. Travellers arriving from the following countries/regions will be placed under medical supervision during their stay in the Republic of Croatia: the People’s Republic of China (mainland and Hong Kong); Republic of Korea; Italian Republic - provinces of Lombardy, Veneto, Piedmont, Emilia-Romagna, Alto Adige (South Tirol) and Marche; Federal Republic of Germany - County Heinsberg in the Federal State North-Rhine-Westphalia; Islamic Republic of Iran; Japan and Republic of Singapore. The medical supervision varies depending from where the traveller arrives.
  2. All foreign citizens arriving to the Republic of Croatia from:
  3. People’s Republic of China - Hubei province;
  4. Italian Republic - Lombardy, Modena, Parma, Piacenza, Reggio Nell’Emilia, Pesaro, Rimini, Urbino, Alessandria, Asti, Novara, Verbano Cusio Osolla, Vercelli, Padova, Treviso, Venezia and Bolzano (Bozen);
  5. Federal Republic of Germany - Heinsberg County in the Federal State North Rhine-Westphalia;
  6. Republic of Korea - Daegu City and Cheongdo province;
  7. Islamic Republic of Iran.

Will be informed about the measure of quarantine for 14 days after entering the Republic of Croatia.

  1. All persons entering the Republic of Croatia from the following countries/areas:
  2. People’s Republic of China (except Hubei province);
  3. Hong Kong (People’s Republic of China);
  4. Republic of Korea (except Daegu City and Cheongdo province);
  5. Italian Republic: Veneto, Piedmont, Emilia-Romagna, Alto Adige (South Tirol) and Marche;
  6. Japan;
  7. Republic of Singapore.

Need to be in self-isolation for 14 days after entering the Republic of Croatia.
