Ambassador Mihelin at the opening of the Info point on Croatian tourism and culture and the World Tie Museum

Suzhou, 25 May 2024 - As part of the new premises of the Black Tie Boxing Academy of a prominent Croatian citizen in the city of Suzhou (Jiangsu province), not far from Shanghai, former boxer Goran Martinović, there is also an Info point about Croatian tourism and culture, as well as the World Tie Museum.
 
The opening of these spaces in the prestigious Ligongdi district, along with guests from the city, was attended by Ambassador Mihelin, Director of the Shanghai Office of HTZ Franka Gulin, as well as Consul at the Embassy of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Beijing Saša Kragulj, as an Info point about Bosnia and Herzegovina was also opened at the same place. The Embassy and the Shanghai office of the HTZ provided support for this project in order to promote recognition and interest in travel to Croatia and Croatian heritage.
 
In his address, Ambassador Mihelin told the story of the tie and emphasized the growing interest in traveling to Croatia, to which this info point will definitely contribute, thanking Goran Martinović from Sesvete for his persistent efforts to connect Croatia and China, not only in the Chinese tourist pearl of Suzhou.
