Croatian Embassy in Stockholm will participate on Friday, 12 November 2010, in the „Your Europe“ event at Stockholm's Central Station, organised by the Representation of the European Commission in Sweden. The event's aim is to make the Swedish citizens more familiar with EU enlargement process, enabling them to learn more about EU candidate and potential candidate countries. Under the slogan „Get to know EU's 28th member state“, Croatia will be in the spotlight at 9 - 9.30, 11 - 11.30 and 16 - 16.30. All interested visitors will have the opportunity to see the movie on Croatia, find out more about Croatia's accession to the EU from an interview with the Croatian Ambassador to Sweden Vladimir Matek, get information and promotion material (including some popular souvenirs), win sweet awards in the special quiz about Croatia, and, of course, get answers to any questions about the country.

The list of other participants in „Your Europe“ event includes the representatives of the European Commission (Alex Wallden, DG Enlargement, and Maria Åsenius, Cabinet of EU Commissioner Cecilia Malmström), Swedish Ministry for Foreign Affairs (Lars Schmidt, EU Department), agency Europa Direkt Interkult, as well as the embassies of Albania, Iceland, Macedonia, Serbia and Turkey. The event is a part of the European Commission's broader communication activities aimed at raising EU citizens's awareness of EU enlargement policy, in the light of the recent publication of this year's European Commission's Enlargement Strategy and individual progress reports for EU candidate and potential candidate countries.
