Exhibition about Croatia in the Lithuanian Parliament

The exhibition of photographs by the Croatian author Marko Vrdoljak, entitled „Amazing Croatia“, was opened on 22 September on the premises of the Lithuanian Parliament (Seimas) in Vilnius. The exhibition, which represents another confirmation of excellent relations between the two countries, was formally launched by Egidius Vareikis, Chair of the Seimas Committee for cooperation with Western Balkan countries and Vladimir Matek, Croatian Ambassador accredited in Lithuania.

The visit of the exhibition was arranged by the Croatian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, upon the initiative of the Seimas, and as a sign of support to Croatia's efforts in the final phase of accession negotiations and promotion of Croatia as the future 28th member of the EU. The event was attended by numerous members of the Lithuanian Parliament, representatives of Lithuanian state and cultural institutions, as well as the ambassadors and other members of the diplomatic corps, business community and media Substantial interest in Croatia, which was declared the most interesting tourist destination at the last winter's tourism fair in Vilnius, was confirmed by the large number of promotion materials distributed by the Croatian Tourist Board in connection with the exhibition.
