By these web-pages we would like to promote additionally Croatia's friendly relations with Sweden, Latvia and Lithuania as those relations are to become even more important in the light of Croatian oncoming membership in the European Union and NATO.
We witness with pleasure a growing bilateral cooperation in the field of politics, economy, culture and science as well as a growing number of tourists from Scandinavian and Baltic countries, what further contributes to cooperation between Croatia and the North of Europe.
There is a large Croatian community in Sweden which has managed to preserve its national identity for decades through several Croatian associations. Having being well integrated into Swedish society, the Croatian community in Sweden represents in the same time the bridge of Croatian-Swedish friendship.
