Croatia was one of the eight countries contributing to the Europe Day celebration at the Stockholm Central Station, which was organised by the Representation of the European Commission in Stockholm and the European Parliament Information Office in Sweden.
Croatian presentation included a quiz entitled „Discover Croatia: the 28th EU member!“ and featuring of a special movie about Croatia. Various promotional materials were distributed to interested visitors. Special contribution to Croatia's presentation was made by the girls in national costumes and musicians from HKD "Dr. Ivan Mertz", which performed a small concert of traditional Dalmatian music.
The quiz indicated high level of knowledge about Croatia, and the five best participants got prizes which included Croatian chocolate and some useful tourist and educational material on Croatia.
From 7 May to 9 May, the Stockholm Central Station, one of the most vibrant and dynamic spaces in Sweden, hosted a specal EU multimedia stand, enabling numerous travellers to learn new things about the European Union, its member states, as well as Croatia as the future 28th member state.
