On July 7th 2017, the Croatian Embassy hosted in cooperation with the International Club of DC and Tesla Motors an evening of Tesla Night & Rides at the Croatian Embassy on the occasion of the 161st aniversary of the birth of Croatian-born scientist Nikola Tesla. The event featured many traditional foods and wine for guests to try. The event also included live musical performances of traditional Croatian music. Guests were given the chance to test ride in a Tesla, the world"s most sophisticated car incorporating Nikola Tesla"s electric motor technology. About 200 people attended the event to ride in Tesla"s and to discover Croatia"s cusine and culture.
