Minister Krsticevic meets with the U.S. Secretary of Defense

On July 12th 2017, Croatian Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister Damir Krsticevic met with the US Secretary of Defense James Mattis in the Department of Defense on his official visit. The two sides affirmed their excellent cooperation as strategic allies and partners, especially in regards to defence and security. US Secretary of Defense James Mattis also underlined Croatia"s large contributions to international security and as a model NATO ally despite the countries small size. Minister Krsticevic and Secretary Mattis praised the meeting as productive and affirmed their excellent cooperation as strategic allies and partners in regards to defence and security. During his visit, Minister Krsticevic visited the National Cemetary in Arlington and paid tribute to the Tomb of the Uknown Soldier. Minister Krsticevic also met with the Deputy Director of the Defence Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA) Greg Kausner and the Director of the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) General Vincent Stewart, along with Croats living in the United States.
