We are delighted to announce the Kennedy Center performance by one of the most renowned Croatian Girls’ Choir Zvjezdice.
In their Kennedy Centre performance, the renowned Croatian Girls’ Choir "Zvjezdice" (Little Stars) will be accompanied by Croatia’s treasured harpist Dijana Grubišic Cikovic and young, outstanding soprano Antonia Dunjko, under the baton of Maestro Zdravko šljivac. The concert titled “Christmas Time Is Here, And The New Year Is Coming…” will be held at the Millennium stage of The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts on Friday, December 11, 2015 at 06:00PM. Please note: No Tickets Required, Seating is on a First Come, First Served basis. “Zvjezdice” Girls Choir is one of the most representative music ensembles in Zagreb and Croatia. It was founded in 1985 and forms part of the Youth Music Centre in Zagreb. The members of the choir are all outstanding students of primary and secondary schools in Zagreb. In three decades of its existence, the choir has developed a strong cooperation with the most prominent Croatian ensembles and performers, as well as with many conductors from both Croatia and abroad. Their previous performances in the United States include highly successful tour in 2003 (New York, Pittsburgh, Dayton, Northern Kentucky), the 2004 tour (Cincinnati, Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Los Angeles, Chicago and New York), and the concert at New York’s Lincoln center in 2010.
