Correspondingly, as of Friday March 13, 2020 until further notice the Embassy and Consulates General (New York, Chicago and Los Angeles) will accept ONLY emergency cases of Croatian nationals (Laissez-passer for the Deceased and Emergency Travel Document for return to domicile country – Croatia) and EXCLUSIVELY upon prior announcement. Furthermore, those who will qualify under emergency terms will be asked to confirm the following: * have no symptoms of infection * have not resided in, or traveled from countries where quarantine has been mandated for the past 14 days * who have not been in contact with anyone having or suspected to have the coronavirus * are requested to bring their own ballpoint pens to fill in any forms in compliance with the recommended prevention measures. Appointments of all other non-urgent consular jobs, including all foreign nationals (e.g. visas and citizenship) are suspended until further notice.
