The Delegation of the European Union to the United States hosted a celebration event to mark Croatia's Accession to the EU at the Delegation's headquarters on July 1, 2013 in Washington, DC.
A flag of Croatia was unveiled in the line of flags of EU member states and a timeline wall featuring important events in the EU history was extended to feature Croatia as 28th member state and to honor the Nobel Prize awarded to the EU in 2012.
