On 25 May 2018, the delegation from Port of Rijeka visited the Port of Durres, where the General Director of the Port of Durres Mr. Afrim Bakaj and the Deputy of Executive Director of the Port of Rijeka Ms. Zorka Beganovic, signed a Memorandum of Understanding, confirming the importance of wider bilateral cooperation in the field of maritime traffic and the port industry. Signing of Memorandum was also attended by the Prefect of Durrës County Mr. Roland Nasto, who welcomed the initiative of the two ports and stressed the importance of the Memorandum.
