British Croatian Society and the Croatian Embassy were delighted to be able to present a lecture by Mr Peter Sanfey, the Deputy Director of Country Strategy and Policy within the Office of the Chief Economist at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. The lecture was on the South-Eastern Europe and Mr Sanfey offered his views about Croatia, and the neighbouring countries, their economic, social and political achievements, challenges and prospects. Numerous questions were made by the audience mostly concerned with the present challenges facing the South East Europe (educational reform, economic policies, etc.).
