The best writers of the contemporary Croatian Literary Scene at the London Book Fair At the London Book Fair, which was held from 15th to 17 April, Croatia as part of "English Literature in Focus" for the first time it had a possibility to present his contemporary writers and publishers on its own stand. The exhibition attracted more than 25,000 professionals, 1,500 exhibitors from 60 countries and 404 copyrights companies.

At the London Book Fair, which was held from 15th to 17 April, Croatia as part of "English Literature in Focus" for the first time it had a possibility to present his contemporary writers and publishers on its own stand. The exhibition attracted more than 25,000 professionals, 1,500 exhibitors from 60 countries and 404 copyrights companies. Croatian presence at the Fair, organized by the Ministry of Culture, Croatian Writers' Association, a London publishing house Istros Books and supported by the British-Croatian Society and the Croatian Embassy in London, attracted lots of attention. Authors of books that have recently been published in English, the award-winning Croatian writers Dasha Drndic, Joseph Novakovic, Robert Perisic, Marinko Košcec, Boris Gunjevic and Matko Sršen, translators Will Firth and Katherine, Celia Hawkesworth and John Sršen and Susan Curtis-Kojakovic as publishers presented their work to a broad audience with whom they discussed the language, translation, national and international features of the contemporary Croatian literature.
