An illustrated lecture by two AMAC-UK 2016 academic award winners, Danijel Cikovic and Iva Jazbec Tomaic was given at the Croatian Embassy in London in collaboration with AMAC-UK. The lecture, given by Mr Cikovic, assistant lecturer at the Academy of Applied Arts in Rijeka and Ms Jazbec Tomaic, an assistant lecturer at the University of Croatia, was entitled ‘Paolo Veneziano’s Masterpiece between Venice, Krk and London; New Consideration of the Embroidered Altar Frontal from Victoria and Albert Museum’, provided an overview of the recent research undertaken at the Victoria and Albert Museum and the British Library concerning the antependium in the Cathedral of Krk created according to the design by Paolo Veneziano.
