Croatian Ambassador Dr Ivan Grdešic attended the opening of Tena štivicic’s brilliant play “3 Winters” at Lyttelton, London National Theatre. Described by British media as generous, surprising and extremely powerful, new Tena štivicic’s play is on until 3rd February 2015. Tena’s outstanding play spans 66 turbulent years of Croatia’s capital in an epic story of one family and four increasingly educated and independent generations of women. In this intricate play, the struggles of one eclectic Croatian family mirror the strife of a whole country through the 20th and 21st century. Powerfully performed it is classified as the best new play of the year. Croatian Embassy diplomats and other dignitaries and friends participated at the highly visited after play reception.
