Lecture by dr. Ivan Mirnik on the image of Roger Boscovich on Croatian medals
On the 18th of October, Dr Ivan Mirnik of the Zagreb Archaeological Museum gave a lecture on the image of Roger Boscovich on Croatian medals on the invitation of the Royal Numismatic Society. His well-received lecture vividly brought to life Roger Boscovich, a renowned Croatian theologian, physicist, astronomer, mathematician, philosopher, diplomat and a poet, as a person and as a scientist to the assembled academics and Croats living in London.

Dr. Mirnik, using the medium of medal, pointed out aspects of Roger Boscovich's work as an atom theorist, astronomer as well as his work on the preservation of the St Peter's dome in Rome.
