Embassy Fund Raising Concert to re-stock the flood damaged school library in Gunja

On the 22nd January Embassy organized funds raising concert to re-stoke flood damaged Elementary School Antun and Stjepan Radic library in Gunja with books and materials that would support learning of English. International award winning pianist Diana Brekalo and her colleagues Marina Solarek (violin), Miriam Lowbury (cello), Mae Heydorn (mezzosoprano) staged a magnificent concert before a large audience of the Rosslyn Hill Chapel. Ambassador Grdešic, thanked primarily to young artists for their sensitivity towards the needy and for their music which helped raise funds for the books procurement. He also thanked to all those gathered who with their presence, bought ticket or given donation contributed to the reconstruction of library. At the concert the works of Brahms, Sibelius, Dvorak and Piazzolla were played, and Diana Brekalo solo performed piano works by Josipovic and Tarbuk.
