Travelling extensively throughout Europe, Jackson recorded his experiences in notebooks, sketchbooks and diaries. Fascinated by the landscapes, monuments and works of art in Croatia in 1887 he published a three-volume book "Dalmatia, the Quarnero and Istria". For the first time the public is able to see the original watercolours and drawings which T.G.Jackson used for illustrating this book and admire his artistic talents.
