Croatian Defence Minister Josip Buljevic participated at the UN Peacekeeping Defence Ministerial in London on 7-8 September 2016. The gathering of Defence Ministers, which followed up last year’s Leaders’ Summit in New York, discussed ways of achieving meaningful improvements to the way in which each country participates in and contributes to UN peacekeeping operations. Chief of the General Staff of the Croatian Armed Forces, General Mirko šundov, also participated at the UN ministerial.
