Croatia and UK sign a defence Memorandum Of Understanding

From the sixth to seventh of February Damir Krsticevic, the Croatian Deputy Prime Minister and the Defence Minister visited the United Kingdom. During the visit Mr Krsticevic and Sir Michael Fallon, UK Secretary of State for Defence, signed a Memorandum of Understanding that will further enhance the bilateral relationship and boost cooperation in the fields of defence and security between the two countries. Mr Krsticevic also met Earl Howe, the Minister of State for Defence and Deputy Leader of the House of Lords, as well as Air Chief Marshal Sir Stuart Peach, the Chief of the Defence Staff. Mr Krsticevic met with the representatives of the Association of British Volunteers with the Croatian Forces in the Homeland War, and the officers in the Croatian Forces seconded to the NATO/EU commands in the UK.
