Building Bridges in Biomedicine: Croatia & the UK

The Embassy of Croatia had the honor of hosting an event jointly organized by the Association of Croatian British Professionals (ACBP) and Med&X, under the title "Building Bridges in Biomedicine: Croatia & the UK." The event aimed to foster scientific exchange and networking among leading professionals in the field.

 

In her welcome speech, Mrs. Loreta Bertoša-Kušen, Minister Plenipotentiary at the Embassy, emphasized that the Embassy of the Republic of Croatia in London had the privilege of bringing together esteemed experts in medicine and biomedical sciences to explore new opportunities for collaboration, partnerships, and knowledge exchangebetween Croatia and the United Kingdom.

 

The evening began with a captivating lecture by Dr. Alen Juginović (Harvard Medical School, President of Med&X and Plexus Conference) on “The Role of Sleep in Health and Longevity”, followed by a dynamic panel discussion led by Mr. Krešimir Krajnović (President of ACBP), Dr. Alen Juginović (Harvard Medical School), and Dr. Miro Vuković(University of Split, School of Medicine, VP and co-founder of Med&X and Plexus Conference).
