Book Launch „50 Years of Croatian Catholic Mission in London“

On Monday, November 14, 2022, the book "Fifty Years of the Croatian Catholic Mission in London 1969 - 2019" was presented in the Embassy of the Republic of Croatia in London.

Authors Fr. Ljubomir Šimunović, also the head of HKM, and Robert Skenderović reminded the guests what the Catholic mission has achieved in five decades. In his welcoming speech, the Ambassador of the Republic of Croatia Igor Pokaz emphasized the importance of the HKM as an institution that brings together Croats in the United Kingdom and promotes Croatian culture and tradition in addition to religious services.

The importance of HKM was most evident during the Homeland War when the mission in London was collecting humanitarian aid for Croatian victims and actively participated in spreading the truth about the Serbian aggression against Croatia. The mission also publishes the bilingual yearbook Most - The Bridge, the 16th issue of which will be published these days.
