Croatian film "Vransko jezero" presented at the International Film Festival in Vaasa Croatian documentary film "Vransko jezero" by Mihovil Gunjaca has been presented at the 5th International festival of films about nature protection in the Finnish city of Vaasa on 19 November 2010.

Croatian film "Vransko jezero" presented at the International Film Festival in Vaasa Croatian documentary film "Vransko jezero" by Mihovil Gunjaca has been presented at the 5th International festival of films about nature protection in the Finnish city of Vaasa on 19 November 2010. The film, which depicts the beauty of Vransko jezero, biodiversity and habitat to over 240 species of birds, encountered a great interest among the festival audience, but also professional and scientific circles. The Croatian Ambassador Dr.Damir Kušen thanked the Mayor of Vaasa Markku Lumi, Vaasa University Rector Professor Matti Jakobsson and Festival Director Vesi Heinonen for the opportunity to present Croatia and its beauty, as well as its restrictive regulation of nature protection and sustainable development.
