Should you have already concluded a civil marriage in Ireland and wish to conclude a RELIGIOUS MARRIAGE IN THE REPUBLIC OF CROATIA, you will not need to produce the above mentioned documents, required for the conclusion of a civil marriage in the Republic of Croatia. You will however need to produce your Irish wedding certificate, sealed by an Apostille obtained at the Consular Section of the Department of Foreign Affairs in Ireland (not older than 3 months) and then translated into the Croatian language (kindly contact the Sandford Language Institute in Dublin 6- tel: 01-260-1296).
Due to the fact that the documents and procedures required for the conclusion of religious marriages are quite lengthy and complex, kindly ask your wedding planner to make all the necessary arrangements with the competent parish in the Republic of Croatia on time.
Additionally, we would like to emphasize that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of the Republic of Croatia is not competent for the issuance of instructions related to specific queries regarding the conclusion of religious marriages in the Republic of Croatia.
