Mr Neven Jurica, Chairman of the Committee on Foreign Affairs of the Croatian Parliament is participating at a two day conference of chairmen of EU Parliamentary Foreign Affairs Committees dedicated to development. The conference is hosted by Dr Michael Woods TD, Chairman of the Joint Oireachtas Committee on Foreign Affairs.
Mr Neven Jurica, Chairman of the Committee on Foreign Affairs of the Croatian Parliament is participating at a two day conference of chairmen of EU Parliamentary Foreign Affairs Committees dedicated to development. The conference is hosted by Dr Michael Woods TD, Chairman of the Joint Oireachtas Committee on Foreign Affairs.
Addressing the Conference, Mr Jurica thanked for the first invitation extended to Croatia to attend the Conference of chairmen of EU parliamentary foreign affairs committees and stressed the successful Croatian rapprochement towards full EU membership. He emphasized the need to look at the world development problems from the perspective of changes in development of the EU. Therefore he welcomed the recent EU enlargement and expressed hope that the enlargement process will continue. A bigger Europe will be stronger and will therefore be ready to face challenges of her global role in helping the third world countries.
