To celebrate the accession of the Republic of Croatia to the European Union and to mark the National Statehood Day of the Republic of Croatia, the concert of the soprano Ms Vedrana šimic and the pianist, Mrs Lana Bradic was organised on 18th June 2013 at the National Concert Hall in Dublin.

Representatives of Irish political, cultural and business community, as well as the diplomatic corps attended the concert.
Prior to the beginning of the concert, the Ambassador of the Republic of Croatia, H.E. Ms Jasna Ognjanovac greeted the guests and thanked EU member states, especially the Irish Government and its people for the assistance and support extended during the accession negotiations process of the Republic of Croatia to the European Union.
The exceptional talent and virtuosity of Ms Vedrana šimic, soprano, and the pianist, Mrs Lana Bradic were recognized by the audience and many guests congratulated the artists personally after the concert.
