The Central Bank of Ireland hosted the Annual Ante Cicin-šain Lecture on Tuesday 29 May 2018 in Dublin. The late Dr Ante Cicin-šain was a distinguished economist who served as the first Governor of the Croatian National Bank and also as the First Ambassador of the Republic of Croatia to Ireland.
The lecture was introduced by the Governor of the Central Bank of Ireland Mr Philip R. Lane and the lecture was given by Mr Marko škreb, Former Governor of the Croatian National Bank. Among those in attendance were the the Governor of the Croatian National Bank Mr Boris Vujcic, the Ambassador of the Republic of Croatia to Ireland Mr Ivan Mašina, the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Croatia to Ireland Mr Gerard Danaher and the Vicegovernors of the Croatian National Bank Mr Tomislav Presecan and Mr Bojan Fras.
