MEDIA ADVISORY – Three Seas Initiative Summit and Business Forum in Dubrovnik

The Republic of Croatia, holding the Presidency of the Three Seas Initiative, will host the 11th Three Seas Initiative Summit on 28 April and the accompanying Business Forum on 28-29 April 2026 in Dubrovnik.

The Prime Minister of the Republic of Croatia, Andrej Plenković, will participate in the Summit, bringing together leaders of participating states, associated participating states, strategic partners, and international financial institutions.

Discussions will focus on transport, energy and digital connectivity, enhancing energy security, on building up to strengthen strategic infrastructure, and boosting the resilience and competitiveness of the European Union. Particular emphasis will be placed on the role of financial institutions and private capital in delivering key projects.

In the context of profound global transformation, marked by the rewiring of global value chains and shifting trade routes, the Three Seas Initiative is increasingly positioned as a strategic connectivity bridge with a clear global dimension, in particular between Europe and Asia, through Middle Corridor and IMEC.

On the first day, the Summit, which will take place on 28 April at Hotel Palace, includes the signing of agreements, a family photo, a doorstep, a plenary session, and a press conference.

The Business Forum will take place on 28-29 April at Hotel Valamar Lacroma, gathering more than 1200 policymakers, business leaders, investors, and financial institutions from numerous countries, focusing on transport, energy, digital industry, dual use, and finance. The Leader’s Panel will be held on 29 April at the same venue. The Forum reflects strong interest in the economic space between the Baltic, Adriatic and Black Seas - a market of approximately 120 million people with collective GDP of 3,5 trillion in 2025.

Press centres and technical facilities for media coverage will be available at the venues. Working language is English.
