The completion of accession negotiations is a decisive moment in Croatia's history, one which marks its re-integration into the European mainstream. Becoming a Member State of the EU marks the fulfilment of a crucially important strategic and political goal of Croatia's foreign policy, but it is equally important in the sense that it allows Croatia to forge even closer ties with the members of our European family, in all possible ways.
